PINTO-RIBEIRO, CEROVSEK AND BRENDEL WITH LISBON METROPOLITAN ORCHESTRA

On November 10th 2018, at the Thalia Theater in Lisbon, Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, Corey Cerovsek and Adrian Brendel played Beethoven Triple Concerto, in the ambit of the association of DSCH - Shostakovich Ensemble as Associate Artists of the 2018/2019 Season of the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra.

The concert also included the Adagietto of the opera Paradise Lost of Penderecki and Schubert 5th Symphony under the direction of Adrian Brendel.

On September 23rd, cellist Adrian Brendel represented the DSCH - Shostakovich Ensemble as soloist of the Season Opening Concert, playing the Largo of Krzysztof Penderecki, Associate Composer of the Season, accompanied by the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra under the direction of Pedro Amaral.
 
The association of the Shostakovich Ensemble with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra will continue with the collaboration in several concerts throughout the season, namely in the interpretation of works of Schumann, Penderecki, Schubert and a Brahms Festival that will include the Double Concerto for Violin, Cello and Orchestra and the 1st Concerto for Piano and Orchestra.
