Film CLASSICAL SUMMER 2016: [link]
With artistic and pedogical direction by Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, the second edition of the Festival and Masterclasses CLASSICAL SUMMER – Lisbon International Music Academy – took place at Lisbon’s Centro Cultural de Belém, between July 30 and August 6, 2016.
CLASSICAL SUMMER is a musical project of the highest level, including daily concerts at the Chamber Music Festival, with leading musicians from the international music scene, Masterclasses given by teachers from some of the most important international musical institutions, with awards and public concerts for the best participants.
The 2016 edition received more than 150 participants (from countries such as Portugal, Japan, Spain, United States of America England, France, China, Chile, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, Slovenia, Brazil, Thailand, Iran, Lithuania, Finland, Germany, Poland, Thailand, Hungary), for Masterclasses with the best musicians and teachers of worldwide reputation, coming from the best schools - Berlin, Salzburg, Brussels, Lucerne - and orchestras - Berlin Philharmonic, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Vienna Symphonic Orchestra:

• Matthew McDonald (Australia) - Double Bass : 1st Principal Double Bass of Berliner Philharmoniker Orchestra and Professor at Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin
• Silvia Careddu (Italy) - Flute : 1st Principal Flute of Vienna Symphonic Orchestra and Professor at Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin
